Description

The floral elements featured on this garment derive from the full sleeve composition of Origin Piece I — Marked Sleeves.

Drawing from Japanese tattoo traditions, the flowers — lotus, peony, and lily — establish rhythm and balance within the sleeve composition. Their placement creates moments of pause between the larger figures while maintaining continuity across the arm.

In the original work, these floral elements were hand-painted directly onto leather.
This garment translates that intervention into a structured fleece format while preserving the layered composition and structural balance of the source work.

Built with a ribbed crew neck, cuffed sleeves, and a flat hem, the silhouette remains clean and architectural. The brushed fleece interior adds weight and insulation without altering the clarity of the printed mark.

The underlying structural form references the compositional framework used within the sleeve design, allowing the floral elements to anchor the surrounding movement of the figures.

Not the origin.
Derived from it.
