Origin Collection I – Phoenix – Black Crew

The phoenix featured on this garment derives from the full sleeve composition of Origin Piece I — Marked Sleeves.

Developed in reference to Japanese tattoo iconography, the phoenix is constructed as a figure of ascent — wings extended, body curved within a controlled circular movement. The composition is built through layered linework, balanced negative space, and directional flow across the sleeve.

In the original work, the phoenix was hand-painted directly onto leather.
This garment translates that intervention into a structured fleece format while preserving the rhythm and internal structure of the source composition.

Built with a ribbed crew neck, cuffed sleeves, and a flat hem, the silhouette remains clean and architectural. The brushed fleece interior adds weight and insulation without disturbing the clarity of the printed mark.

The white form behind the figure references the structural element used within the sleeve layout — reinforcing the upward movement of the phoenix without overpowering the figure.
